Black and White Wednesday Beauty

Over the summer I learned how to create my own presets in Lightroom.  I love how easy they are to use and save me so much time on editing.   I wish I knew how to share them.  If anyone does – leave a comment and I’ll do my best to get them up here for you all to enjoy too.

The other day I was practicing with lighting and focus – our daughter Jordan is a beautiful subject to practice on.  Not always willing - but worth the effort we both make to capture shots like these….

This past weekend the two of us traveled to Stillwater, OK to meet dear friends of mine from blogging.   While waiting for them to arrive at our hotel I opened up the curtain and had her lay facing the window.  I was scrunched up between the bed and the window to get this shot.   Totally worth it Smile

These are my three favorites in BW.  Yesterday I shared my favorite ones in color!

I often joke on our family blog that it is a good thing photos can’t talk.

Here is a perfect example of that!

Our youngest was upset about something – I can’t remember now but I couldn’t resist taking her photo while she came to tell me who bothered her.

This is me being silly taking a self portrait to check lighting.

I think I prefer myself in BW.
