This weekend we celebrated the birth of our Savior and our son Noah. He turned 4 yesterday. He is very excited to be 4 and a “big” boy. Our family began the holiday celebrating on Christmas Eve with our tradition Bethlehem Dinner – and the joy carried over throughout the weekend.
Unfortunately the weather outside was too cold and I had to do a mini photo session for Noah’s birthday inside the house. Lighting in our home is not great for a true photo session and I really prefer not to use my speedlite if not absolutely necessary. No matter how much I want to critique them for lighting – I LOVE how much they capture his true personality! He began to play peek-a-boo with me! What a gift God has given us through Noah…hard to believe it has been 4 yrs since the moment we held him and then brought him home.
Lexi was thrilled to begin using her Christmas presents – her 1st DSLR a Canon T1i and a 50mm f1.8. She is loving them both!
I was taking a photo of her while she was taking one of me
Last night we had some fun with our sweet dog Caspian (he was a very good sport for our idea) and Lexi!
I pray you all had a merry and blessed Christmas!
Tomorrow I will begin a countdown to 2011 with my best shots from 2010.
Want to join in? Let me know and I will set up a linky for us to all relive 2010 through our lens!
Just because I adore her and this photo makes me
