Fireworks 2011

I was so excited that the rain held off and I could try out all of the tutorials I shared last week.   I took several of our children with me to a local firework show – which only last for about 12 minutes.   But in that little bit of time I was able to capture the following shots which I am really happy with!

The kids kept screaming for me to capture the sunset while we were waiting for the fireworks to begin…

Then before I was even expecting it – they began…

my settings during the fireworks (35mm 2.0 lens – 4-6 sec SS f/14 ISO 100)
