Be Still SONday–Singing

My sweet friend Linda shared the following on her FB page after a friend emailed this to her.  May the words of truth bless you today and remind you to never stop singing!  We all have so much to be thankful for – let us praise Him together!

Psalm 103:1
I will sing unto the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously. Ex. 15:1

Sing ye to the Lord, for He hath triumphed gloriously. Ex. 15:21

Spring up, O well: sing ye unto it. Num. 21:17

I, even I, will sing unto the Lord. Judges 5:3

Therefore will I give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto Thy Name. 2 Sam. 22:50

Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him, talk ye of all His wondrous works. 1 Chron. 16:9

Sing ye unto the LORD, all the earth; show forth from day to day His salvation.  Chron. 16:23

 


Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because He cometh to judge the earth. 1 Chron. 16:33

Zepheniah 3:17

 

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. Zec.2:10

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, for this cause I will confess to Thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto Thy name. Rom. 15:9

What is it then? I will pray with the Spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the Spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. 1 Cor.14:15

I will declare Thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I song praise unto Thee. Heb. 2:12

Is any among you affflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms. Jas. 5:13

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou Kings of saints. Rev. 15:3

I think this post full of grace, mercy, truth, and love will keep us all busy singing His praise for a long time!

  2. hum... seems like God wants us to understand that singing and music is one of the best ways to worship and spend time with him! I've been singing his praises all day and night! What a beautiful way to end my day!
