Whom Shall I Tell?

Of a love that began before time.

Of a love that was created without sin.

Of a love that was brought forth to free us of sin.

Of a love that was brought forth to breathe renewed life into us.

Of a love that was brought forth to set things right within us.

Whom shall I tell?

Of a love so precious and pure it knows no bounds.

Of a love that brought forth life to give life more abundantly.

Of a love that surpasses all understanding.

Of a love that creates in us a need to love bolder, bigger, longer, stronger, and deeper.

Of a love that creates in us the need to forgive and forgive and forgive.  So that we may be fully forgiven and released from all bitterness, resentment, and anger.  Not to mention release us from the grip of pride that we are owed something for the wrongs done to us or to those we love.

Of a love that stretches out to the lost and hurting.

Of a love that won’t let go.

Whom shall I tell?

Of a love that will never stop.

Of a love that began in a manger not a safe home.

Of a love that forgave the very people who tried to kill it and stop it.

Of a love that sets us free to live in hope, peace, and joy despite our circumstances.

Of a love that reaches out even when we don’t reach back for it or believe in it.

It is a love that is not dependent on us.  Not one of us can change it or effect it.

This kind of love comes from only one person GOD – who brought forth His one and only begotten SON JESUS.

15 days from now we will be celebrating the power of His birth and all that was made right for us and then in us as we chose for Him to take full ownership of our hearts and lives.    He first loved us and we can now love Him.   Let us do that boldly every single day of our lives.

What sparked this post is a song and story of hope, peace, joy, and love.   Let me share the song first as it has blessed me tremendously the last week and I can’t get enough it.   Prepare your heart for you are about to be ushered into Holy ground.

I just heard about Abigail Smith today and I’m sorry I didn’t get to meet her before she entered into Jesus’s arms Saturday, December 7, 2013.
