If you missed my initial crock-pot recipe post, you can click here to read it.

Hawaiian Chicken – serves 8-10 prep time 10 minutes

  • 1 cup organic pineapple juice
  • 1/3 cup Organic Soy Sauce (GF) seen below in image
  • 1/4 cup of Maple Syrup
  • 2 TB Teriyaki sauce (GF)
  • 2 tsp Onion Flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 16 oz of organic pineapple chunks
  • 4 pounds of boneless and skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 bell peppers

Put half of pineapple chunks and all liquid ingredients at the bottom of crockpot

Slice peppers and then cut into chunks

Put half of peppers into crock-pot

Cut chicken into chunks and put cutting board right into dishwasher.

Turn crock-pot onto high

Add in chicken and the rest of peppers with pineapples.  Sprinkle garlic powder and onion flakes on top.  Then put a little bit more of the soy sauce and touch of maple syrup on top.

Cook on high for two hours, then low for two hours.  Then keep on warm until ready to eat.  Stir a few times throughout the day to ensure chicken is not sticking to one another.

I made basmati rice to go with the Hawaiian chicken.  It was delicious!

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we all do!
