A few more tips about skincare. If you are trying new products, make sure to introduce one product at a time. This way you can see the results of that product and also identify if you’re having an allergic reaction to it. As I mentioned before, my skin is extremely sensitive so I don’t anticipate many people having issues with any of the products I’ve listed but it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
Start reading the labels of your products. If a brand specifically calls out that the product is formulated without parabens, phthalates, or sulfates, you’re on the right track. Safety first!
Next week I will share all about the Rejuvenating Line (previously named Countertime) and wanted to provide you with this chart to help you select which line is best for your skin type. As you can see, you might need to use a few products from each line to ensure your skin is being taken care of properly right now. You might even be surprised that after a few months your skin-tone might change and thus, you might need to switch up your products again. This is a wonderful sign and should be celebrated! What works for each of us depends on many factors: our diet, the quality of make-up and skin-care products we use, how much time we spend in the sun, if we are properly hydrated and getting enough sleep.
Remember, now is the time to begin using sunscreen! I’m excited that there is a SAFE one for our entire family to use each time we are outside or go to the beach!
