LOW-CARB EGG-ROLL BOWL

OK friends, get ready for a completely delicious and easy meal!  This one was a HUGE hit with my family!   They gave it a 9.5 out of 10.  Which means every two weeks they will be enjoying this dish!

And by now you all know that if it is hard to make or takes longer than 30 minutes its a NO go for me!

Now allow me to share how to make this yumminess for dinner with you.

LOW-CARB EGG-ROLL BOWL RECIPE:

Prep time:
Cook time:
Total time:

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 Pounds of Organic Ground Pork
  • 1 Large Organic Green Cabbage
  • 4 TB of Organic Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 cup of Organic Coconut Aminos or this one
  • 2 cloves of Organic Garlic
  • 6 TB Organic Chicken Bone Broth
  • 1 16 oz Organic Broccoli Slaw
  • 2 teaspoons of Organic Ground Ginger
  • REAL Salt and Pepper to taste
  • optional 1 medium onion chopped fine
  • optional 2 scrambled egg-whites

INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: If you are adding the 2 scrambled egg whites - you will mix them into browned meat after adding in sauce mixture!

  1. Chop or food process cabbage (you want it in thin slices)
  2. In a glass bowl set aside mix coconut aminos, minced or dried garlic, ginger together.
  3. Brown the ground pork on medium heat. (If you are adding in the onions now is the time to saute them with the pork)
  4. Add 4 TB sesame oil into browned pork and keep stirring mixture.
  5. Begin cooking cabbage in separate deep pot with 1 stick of butter already melted.
  6. Add in bag of broccoli slaw and cook on medium heat stirring them pretty consistently.
  7. Add 2 TB sesame oil over cabbage and broccoli - stir in really well.
  8. Pour the glass bowl mixture over browned pork - turn your heat down a little and stir it all together to make sure all the meat is covered.  I left a little of the mixture to pour into cabbage pot as well.  Maybe 2 TB worth.
  9. Add 2 TB of chicken broth to pork and 2 TB to your cabbage.  Be sure to keep stirring them both.
  10. Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes more.
  11. You will know the cabbage and broccoli slaw are fully cooked when they are soft and easy to stir around in the pot.
  12. Serve cabbage/broccoli slaw on bottom or on the side like I did with pork on top or next to it.
  13. Sprinkle REAL Salt and Pepper to taste.
  14. Garnish with Organic Sesame seeds and ENJOY!

I just poured the sauce mixture into the meat and you can see the cabbage/slaw is almost done.

This is what the pork looks like finished.  Remember you can add chopped onion to your beef or cabbage if you enjoy that flavor in your dish!
