Week 8 Edits of Me

Today we will be linking up with Ashley for her editing tutorial

I took all of my photos into LR2 and did my quick preset edits.  Then for the morning shots I put them into to create collages.  I know there are storyboard actions for the web, but I really don’t want to buy another thing for editing {especially since I rarely use anything that I bought}.  I could also create them in PSE8, again I would rather not spend much time doing it and picnik is quick and easy!!!

Remember I mentioned on Monday that Lexi was behind me making faces that I couldn’t see?   Now you can see her.  Silly girl!

The next series I fixed the wb and boosted the lighting and contrast.  I have one preset that does all of that for me in a few seconds.  Love LR2 {Lightroom 2}!   I really am happy with how these turned out.  Next time I will darken the area behind me to help keep the feel a bit more like my SOOC shot.  I can now see that I lost a bit of softness from the evening sky when I brightened it up.  Smile

I actually really like the next two photos of me.  I think they are very true to how I look to others.  Which is neat to see myself from your perspective.

OK, I’ll see you over at Ashley’s!

Remember next week’s theme/prompt is “spring” {sure hope it arrives this weekend!} in one SOOC.  Future prompts/themes are below my posts.  Can’t wait to see all of your photos once again on Monday.

Again, thank you for visiting everyone that signs up each week. This challenge has been a wonderful way to not only improve our photography, it has become a very supportive community of photographers of all skill levels. For that I am thrilled and inspired!

Reminder:  In the next few weeks it is going to become increasingly hard for me to visit everyone each day as our family is going through a major move.   Please forgive me and understand that I will do my best each week to keep up with all of you.  I love visiting each of you and your comments are such a gift to me.  Thank you all for the lovely comments and spending time with me here.
