Week 26 good to WOW {SOOC}

Welcome back everyone! Thanks again for joining us. To those of you who are new to our weekly challenge please go here to learn all the details about how this works first. The next five weeks of themes/prompts are at the bottom of my blog. Also, everyone please do us a favor and read this post before entering any photo challenge…thanks!

If you have been following me and my blogs for a while you know that our family loves Pancake Saturday.  Well, this weekend happened to be a very special one around here, because we spent the three days prior picking fresh blueberries for a local organic farm right up the street from our home.   I can’t wait to share photos from our time on the farm.  The kids and I had a blast.  We are excited to help the owner all summer long gather fresh food from her garden!

I have two Red, White and Blue ideas I’m sharing today.  Firework shots will be posted in a few days.   And just in case you are wondering these GF and vegan pancakes are the BOMB!   They are beyond delicious and my husband is truly the Pancake King!   Sorry if these make you hungry Open-mouthed smile  My mouth is watering just looking at them.  Yum!  Yum!

My only regret with these shots is not taking the time to put a pretty table cloth under the plate.  The green table kills these shots for me Sad smile   Only for a moment though because just look at all this goodness packed onto one plate.  Can you blame our daughter for anxiously waiting to eat every delectable morsel?

My plate looked just like this (minus the chocolate syrup) – MMMMmmmm GOOD!

As you saw on Saturday our summer is filled with some serious pool time.   The kids LOVE being thrown high into the air by us.   Our youngest last year soared into the sky so high, many of you were like me - a bit nervous.   Well, this year is no different – the higher the better.    I am less nervous this year because her smiles and show me that she LOVES IT!

I want to apologize that since our move it has become so hard for me to visit your personal blogs.  I do my best each week to visit as many of you as I can.  I’m currently trying to find a place close by that has high-speed internet so that I can visit all of you more often. But since that is not easy to do with our busy schedule I would love it if you would please post your photos that you want entered into our monthly challenge onto the flickr group I started.

To view it and join – go here good to WOW flickr group – you can upload one photo a week into the group pool. Please name it “week # and photo prompt” to help the group follow along. If that does not work for you, please email me your best SOOC photos if you want to enter them into the give-away this month. Thank you!

Since July and August are such high vacation months – I’m taking the next two months off of give-aways.   We will begin voting for the best SOOC again September.  I have a great gift already planned that you will want to keep practicing for your chance to win!  SO, PLEASE keep learning all you can to capture the best shots in camera.   I hope you are inspired by what I share here and from all those who enter our weekly challenge to learn more every month!   I love seeing so much growth in many of your shots.    This challenge has blessed me many ways!   Thanks for joining in and sharing this experience with me and Ashley!

Here are the top 3 SOOC’s for June – please vote up top – winner will be selected Wednesday morning and announced on Friday for the Opteka 43" 5-in-1 Collapsible Disc Reflector, Translucent, White, Black, Silver, Gold, with Carrying Case
