One of my favorite things about photography is being able to find the light and capture it.
It happened yesterday after school when our 6 year old son walked right into the light. I literally had him stop, stay put, and turn a few times while I watched the light create the most beautiful highlights on his face and eyes.
Lucky for me my camera was at the table right next to where he was standing. I used my 50mm 1.4 – set it at ss 1/50 f/2.8 ISO 100 and each photo has only been resized for my blog.
I didn’t like how he was still not in the light enough. I had him shift his body to the left just a touch and WA-LAH!
Just in case you are wondering??? YES! I’m still very jealous of his giraffe like eyelashes – sheesh!
We are very lucky to have our very own firemen to keep us all safe! Especially such cute ones!

There is so much I love about this photo – it truly captures his innocence and mischief all in one!
Wishing you all a richly blessed Tuesday!
