Cow Days | N. Virginia Photographer

As I made my way home after being out playing in the fog for two hours, I couldn’t help but pull over to capture these cows hanging out by the road.   I love that you can see how foggy it was behind them.

I don’t think I have ever seen cows this color either.   I think the smaller one is her baby.  Don’t you?

Unlike the horses I was with a few moments earlier, these two weren’t so excited about me visiting or taking photos.   Yet, I love the photos I captured of them running away!

As you can see the sky is all white, not because I blew it out - its the fog.

Once they moved away from me a bit.  They felt safe once again and I love this final shot of them.

These are the kind of days I’m very happy to have a 70-200mm in my bag.   They sure come in handy when your subject gets a bit away from you.  Open-mouthed smile

I love living near all of these amazing animals.  Even if the cows sometimes keep me up at night making all of their silly noises.  One of them is very ornery and grunts LOUD every single day and night!

Wishing you all a blessed day!  Shine on and capture all the extraordinary moments!
