Glorious Light and Beauty | N. Virginia Portrait Photographer

The ‘I AM BEAUTIFUL’ PROJECT shot ended and we were saying good-bye to Janice and her mom, and right that instant I knew I had to grab Lexi to capture the most glorious light.   Not to mention why waste perfectly beautiful hair and make-up and a great dress?   Exactly my thought.   So I grabbed my camera and these are what happened naturally (the only edit is resize and black and white conversion).  Yes, they are really SOOC.

Lexi does such a great job with her hair and practices new styles she pins almost every day.  So when her turn being photographed with my MIL{love} and me was over she ran upstairs to play with the style to something she liked a bit more.

I am a bit envious of her GORGEOUS hair and I’m ok admitting it!

The only difference in lighting for each shot is where I moved her so that the sun was completely on her back vs. hitting her face and body.

This next group of images seriously make me swoon, and from the stats on my FB page where I shared one of these earlier in the week, it did the same to all of you!

I still can’t decide which one I like better SOOC…

or B&W?

I think these are my favorite shots of her ever!

Lexi you are absolutely stunning and these images of you take my breath away.   I’m so excited for all that awaits you this coming year as you begin a new journey at college!   I do believe the best is yet to come and His plans for you are going to blow your mind!   I love you more than you will ever realize.  One day when you have a little one of your own, you will begin to understand the depth of those words.  Until then, never forget you will always be my baby girl and I will love you no matter what.   No matter how far your journey takes you from here, you will always remain safely tucked in my heart forever!

T.G.I.F. everyone!  Have a blessed weekend!

Make today beautiful,
