I personally love that saying!
It sure makes life fun and relaxing when you are with those who get you.
It is also wonderful to branch out and stretch yourself by learning more about yourself through those who don’t quite get you. They are often our greatest teachers and blessings in life. I didn’t always feel that way. But I do now. And instead of wishing to be with someone who always understands me, I’m grateful to be around people who need to be understood.
God, loves to use His amazing and wildly creative creatures to teach me things.
Sometimes the common things can turn into the most extraordinary right before your eyes. Especially when you are looking for Him in everything and everywhere.
I saw this huge flock of birds on the beach and wanted to try out my 135mm 2.0L lens on them. So my husband and daughter offered to try and get them to fly.

While she was happy running around them…
He was happy to take in the view.
I knew there were tons of birds back by the playground area and it was towards the car. Which meant I would get another chance and this time up-close!
Look at what happened right before my lens…
I didn’t know I captured this until I downloaded the shots to my computer. LOVE IT!
See what happens when you aren’t being nice and ONLY thinking about yourself. HA HA HA!
The white bird got all comfortable and was ready to settle in, but the bully in the back had different plans and off he flew.
I love the shot above this next one. Was thrilled to have capture them so crisply.
Just when he was landing another bully was ready to chase him off. He truly couldn’t catch a break!
You can learn a lot from watching birds in a group and even when they are soaring all alone.
This just proves that the saying is really true, birds of a feather do stick together.
The black birds always seemed to be by themselves and when in a “group” they weren’t really close to one another like the other birds.
Wishing you all a very thankful day!
